Chili Recipe

This is a deep bowl so really there is Chili under the corn chips and sour cream!

It was hot this week so not exactly the best time to have Chili but it was still enjoyed by everyone.  I think that the addition of corn chips as a topping makes this super easy Chili recipe that much better.

1 lb hamburger or ground turkey or venison (1/2 lb will work too)
1 medium onion chopped
2 cans chili beans
2 cans diced tomatoes
chili powder
garlic powder
2-3 cups cooked macaroni (optional)

Boil and cook your macaroni while you assemble the rest of your chili.
Brown your meat with the onions in a medium to large pot.
Sprinkle with chili powder and garlic powder to taste.
Add the chili beans and diced tomatoes.
Heat until warm and add in your macaroni.
Top with sour cream and corn chips.

Enjoy with a salad, corn bread, or both.

You can definitely use your own canned tomatoes and cook up your own beans.  Just make sure to add some salt and chili powder to your taste.
